Our organisation is working in Shahabad Area from the last tewelve years. The description of the works done by
Our society for the sake of humanity is as under:-
According to the article 80-G our NGO is the only NGO that is free from income tax in Shahabad Area.
WORKS DONE BY OUR ORGANISATION
1. HELPING ACCIDENT INJURED PEOPLE IN SHAHABAD AREA (24 HOURS)
In Shahabad Area near about 24800 accident injured people including Children, ladies and senior citizen took care by our organization. Near about 7200 people were taken to PGI Chandigarh after referring by Local Civil Hospital. Near about 17600 injured people were treated well in local Civil Hospital and they refurned to their home after becoming well.More than 1600 people who declared dead in accident were handed over to their relatives and family members respectfully. All expenditure is spent by the organization. Free medical services, medicine and food is provided by organsation to accident injured people at local level. They are also taken to PGI, Chandigarh in the ambulance of organization. The sufferrred people are treated very well until their relatives or family members reached to local civil hospital.
2. BLOOD DONATION CAMP
NGO is organizing Blood Donation Camp regularly once in every three months from 2012 in which near about 4200 blood doners are registered with society of near by villages of Shahabad and proper Shahabad. The donated blood is collected by PGI Chandigarh and G.M.S.H.-32. Till date 43 Blood Donation Camps has been organized by our society in which near about 17870 unit blood is collected.
In year 2021 society made the arrangement of six Blood Donation Camps in place of four Blood Donation Camp.
3. ORGAN DONATION ( Eye or any other organ OR DONATION OF COMPLETE BODY)
In Year 2015, society made the arrangement of donation of Eyes of ninety dead people. In addition to this dead body of two people is sent to PGI Chandigarh for research work by the society. One person whose brain was dead is provided to Allms Delhi for different organ transplantation to needy people through the organization.
4. COMMUNITY KITCHEN (Free of Charge)
In Helpers Building a community kitchen free of charge for needy people, paitents and their raltives is established in the year 2015 by the society to provide them free meal. In the year 2018 Society food Van arranged the food of two times of a day in different hospitals of the city including Adesh Hospital, for the needy, poor and helpers people.
5. FUNERAL PROCESSION OF UNCLAIMED CORPSE
Society is doing the funeral procession of unclaimed copse since 2017. Unclaimed dead bodies of district Kurukshetra and Ambala is funeralized with complete rituals. According to the Hindu rituals, the bone gathering of these unclaimed dead bodies is offered to holy river of India in Ganga (Haridwar) in every third month.
Society has funerated 1170 unclaimed dead bodies till date.
Government makes the arrangement for the postmortem of dead bodies or to take the dead bodies to cemetery in mortuary vans. After postmortem these dead bodies are funerated in Shahabad by the society.
6. MORTUAY VAN AND AMBULANCE SERVICE
Mortuary vans are moving to take the dead bodies to cemetery places by the society. This service is provided to the local citizen free of cost by the NGO. Six ambulances are working for the local patient and patients of near by villages without any lose and pofit.
7. NIGHT SHELTER AND ROAD AWARENESS
Society also arranges night shelter for needy people in all seasons. Society brings homeless needy people in its ambulances in night shelter and also makes arrangement of these people in night shelter in a proper way.
In difficult situations, the people who reached at Shahabad and students of nearby colleges also take shelter in Helpers Building. In these shelter, society provides neat and clean bathroom, washroom and food.
In winter season, society also distributes blankets, food and clothes to the people who are living along road side on GT Road. Society people also pastes Radium Tape on road side stand vehicles and also aware them about Road Safety Rules. Society members also aware the people about Road Safety Rules with the help of govrnement time to time.
8. HELP OF HELPLESS PEOPLE
Society takes care of forgotten people and mentally retareded people in helpers building. Society members also help these people to meet with their families with the help of local government or help them to reach at softer place.
9. SPECIAL FACILITIES FOR NEEDY PEOPLE
- Wheel Chairs, Walkers, Quilts, Blankets and Iron Beds are provided to any needy person at free of cost.
- Freezer is also available at free of charge to keep two dead bodies at a time.
10. SPECIAL ACHIEVEMENT DURING COVID-19
- During lockdown time socied arranged the food for 24*7 and more than 3000 laboures and need people got meal of both the time of the day.
- Near about 120 unclaimed corpses were funerated.
- During Corona-19 three hundred people who were injured in road accident were taken to civil Hospital and helped without any fear.
- On the special request of PGI. Chandigarh and GMCH-32 four Blood Donation Camps were organized in 1 June 2020 in which 1070 Unit was collected.
11. FUTURES PLANING
- In Helper’s Building physicotherapy Centre X-Ray and Ultra Sound facilities are provided to local Citizen of city in which 20 lakh rupees are used.
- At Ladwa Chowk and Barara Chowk society is going to start Road Safety Booth for the awareness of road safety rules in the city.
